I am a deaconess in Clinton, Iowa. This is my first year serving as a deaconess, but I did my internship at the same church, so it already feels like home.
I've been married for two years now, to my wonderful husband, Adam. We bought a house last May and absolutely love being home owners. :)
We are due to have our first baby on April 14, 2011. I've been waiting for this practically my whole life, so we are very, very excited. Right now we call the baby Melchizedek. We are waiting to find out if it is a boy or a girl, but I refer to Baby as a boy.
I don't know what my life as a deaconess will look like, exactly, as we start a family, but it is an exciting adventure. I continually look forward to serving my church and sharing the Gospel with those around me. I especially look forward to caring for my baby and sharing the Gospel with all my children!
